Individual residents can apply for a grant from this fund to take part in sports, education or to finance innovation leading to employment. Supporting resettlement in our community Community Members moving on into their own accommodation after completing the therapeutic programme can apply for a £50 resettlement grant. This can be used for setting up with household items such as small electrical appliances, crockery, cutlery etc. Enabling the giving and receiving of gifts At Christmas, via the House kitty, we donate a grant of £10 per resident for up to 100 people in the Sheffield houses. Sometimes, these events are a first-time opportunity for people to see outside of the city they were born in. Enabling new experiences expands horizons, boosts confidence and self-esteem and is proven to increase retention rates in treatment.
